It's only expected Hollywood studios continue to bank on these superhero properties, but for how long are we gonna continue with reboots and reiterations of these Marvel/DC characters that are actually outdated in their concepts, beliefs and practices in this modern era?

Superheroes conceived in the 1960s and beyond were meant for audiences of that time: CHILDREN, not adults. The entertainment was meant to be simple to consume, easy to get with and with little to no logic involved. Silly characters wearing bright ass latex suits and underwear inside out. DC superheroes get the biggest blunt of this because their characters started earlier than Marvel's. There's so many things in the DC/Marvel superhero world that make absolutely zero logic.

Just take the no-kill policy for example. It's freaking dumb as can be seen with how Batman continuously lets his villain gallery break in and out of prison and once again putting an entire city at risk over and over again. In real life, these people would have been executed already. Even if the state doesn't have a death sentence as law, I'm pretty sure any sensible government would have make exceptional laws for such criminals by now.

Also in real life, nobody who gets powers is gonna be like, 'yay, I'm gonna be a superhero now!' People would rather use powers for their own self benefit. If anything, having real life superheroes would look more like a world with only villains in it.
Also of unrealism is how every superhero is somehow so unique even though their original backstories aren't. Like if the origin story involves a scientific experiment, then why not someone else recreate it? Oh wait, they cant because the formula conveniently got destroyed.
Why don't superheroes use guns? Wont it at least aid them in some way? Oh wait, no because guns are too violent for kids back then and can kill people. Oh no

I'd wish more original IPs get adapted honestly. There's so many good original ideas out there. Just look at Japan for instance. The country's material of manga is so much more diverse, original and modern in thinking and story-telling, because the comic creators aren't overshadowed by two behemoth companies called DC & Marvel. In fact almost no manga involved superheroes until Boku No Hero came along, even in the shounen genre. Mangaka could write across practically any genre and be successful.
There's also lots of good western books and comics that could be adapted. Unfortunately Hollywood would rather not take any chances. It's much easier to invest in a popular IP you know would at least make bank and so the never-ending adaptations of outdated campy superheroes continue...

We have stuff like Invincible, The Boys, Watchmen.

It's like people who only watch shonen or isekai anime and call the whole medium trash.

These are still superhero properties. The whole concept of superheroes perpetuated from the 1940s is still dumb and illogical as hell. I think Watchmen at least comes closest to linking superpowers and politics (which is honestly what would really happen in real life). You think the government will just let a bunch of flying or ridic. strong freaks of nature just run around 'fighting crimes'? You'd be captured the minute they hear of you
