They are citing the twitter of another reporter that is saying Meadows gave the Jan 6 commission a PowerPoint that contained a plan on how to overturn the election and stay in power. Supposedly the plan was being circulated in the admin. If true, this should be front page news and lead to criminal charges. Trump's admin were actively engaged in attempting a coup.

I don't get how people on the right just don't care. How are you so blind and loyal to this party that you are willing to throw the nation into the trash? Why don't you want this investigated? How are you OK with a person doing this?

You're putting words in my mouth. Trump is not and never will be a God to me. Though I will say he did a magnificent job of getting elected despite every power against him. He definitely has plenty of flaws and I never agreed with everything he did.

But I'd vote for him again and again over any Dem and probably most Repubs, too.

I never discussed much about voter fraud or the aftermath of the 2020 election results. You're either getting me confused with someone else or just being disingenuous at this point.

I've said all along Trump was one of the first modern day "third party" candidates---or as close as we'll ever come to having a "third party" candidate get elected--- to actually come into fruition.

Although he clearly leaned right, it was a sight to behold watching the establishment Republicans get wrecked by him on every turn. And, ultimately, the establishment Dems.

I don't think that'll be replicated by anyone else anytime soon. And that's unfortunate, really. Government work has become like some big company. A swamp, as Trump put it. And that goes for both Republicans and Democrats.

We really need to drain the swamp on both sides TBH. Stop having people make life long careers out of it. It wasn't intended that way.

I've seen Trump pin the blame for the surrender to the Taliban on Biden.

I'm sorry. I know that's all very shitty, but I'm going to a better source than Rolling Stone to say that there is a vast interconnected conspiracy to overthrow the US. If CNN says the memo went around, the memo went around. If Rolling Stone is the only source, it's hearsay.

I'm not defending Trump, the 1/6 terrorists, white supremacists, or any of the other bullshit that is going on with the American right. But to say that we were close to democracy being overthrown or that it may yet happen in the immediate future, I'm sorry. There are always people trying to start "the war," but it never happens because there are never enough of them.

This is one thing he didn't do. He handed everything over to Fauci and had daily press conferences on "operation warp speed" or whatever. Other countries in the world didn't fare much better with coronavirus deaths....

Appointing new electors isn't something the federal government can even do. Only the states can do that.

If anything that election was the exact prime moment for states to realize that the actual popular vote doesn't really matter, and the sole authority to appoint electors rests on the state legislatures, but that didn't happen. Shitstorm would have been way more shitstormy if it did.
