As a Lewis fan I feel uncomfortable that the final race is Abu Dhabi. It's just so hard to overtake and knowing Red Bull they will be super aggressive in getting track position and then Lewis will have to make the overtake on track. Don't like that idea at all. They'll probably collide.

Does Max win if they both DNF?

Yeah he has more wins so wins on countback.

Never thought I'd say I'd prefer Lewis to win yet again, but then Max came along.

And happy retirement to my favorite driver, Kimi, still reigning Ferrari champ.

As this is my first year of F1, I for some reason have become a fan of Max, but I don't really mind either one winning. I just hope it's an interesting result and not because of someone getting DNF'd early.

Not sure what the strategy will be for Lewis. Either keep really close and then when Maxs softs start to degrade go for the undercut with the hard tires and then try to go to the end. Otherwise go longer and attack at the end on the softs. But overtaking is so hard here so I dont like that option.

His first strategy should be to avoid Max, who I can see taking them both out to guarantee himself the championship.

While possible, they would have to make a pretty convincing argument that it wasn't intentional if they want to avoid a points deduction. Especially as dirty as Max has been racing recently. More likely Perez is told to take one for the team and throw himself into Hamilton.

Either way, if Hamilton doesn't finish the race and there's any hint of it being because of Red Bull, there will be an absolute shitstorm afterwards.

They've been fucking up strategy all season and it's kind of ridiculous. Seems like every other race Hamilton is mad at the team about something, and I frankly don't blame him. This had better work out.

Max earned literally nothing that entire fucking race. He had absolutely no chance of competing without a straight-up gift from race control. This is a fucking travesty.

Mercedes genuinely might have a case for contesting that finish. They literally didn't let all of the lapped cars through. The moment the ones between Hamilton and Verstappen got out of the way they started the race up again.

How do you make any argument against blatant favoritism? What the fuck just happened? And how are they allowed to get away with it?

That Mercedes is op af. On something like 30 laps old hard tyres still nearly took the lead back on Verstappen on fresh soft tyres.

It wasnt a contest, the Mercedes was just too fast this race.

It did favour Max absolutely I agree. I don't necessarily believe it was a bias towards Max that caused them to go that way. I think had Lewis been in the same situation it would have played out the same.

Personally I feel it was more about giving the fans what they want and trying to capitalise on the drama. The end of this season has been mad. This way you are going to have so many more people wanting to tune in next season that might not have had it finished with a boring Lewis \ Max win under the SC.

Yeah this season got be back watching f1 again. Cannot believe it went down to the last lap. My heart was pounding near the end.

First time watching properly.
