So I've been collecting these $22.99 action figures.

I bought too many and decided I don't want them anymore. I started returns for them on Target.com, and they refunded me and told me to keep the items. This is the email I got for every item:

Hi *****,

Looks like the item you are returning does not need to be returned to Target this time in order for you to get your refund. Feel free to keep it, recycle or donate it! If the item was damaged, please dispose of it safely. Thanks for your help!

How crazy is that? I would gladly have packed them up and returned them, but they just gave me a refund and free items.

Does this mean you can steal $975 from Targets in California?

That sounds about right. I guess dealing with returns is a hassle and now that everyone is making over $15 an hour not worth the time.

Don't know about "stealing" but I just got refunded over $100 and didn't have to return anything. I guess I'll sell them on eBay since I don't want them.

GI Joe Classified. It's the equivalent of Marvel Legends from Hasbro; same quality and price point. Like the Star Wars Black series.

And they did it every time. I bought duplicates of a few and decided I don't need that many. Every one ended up being refunded with no return.

seems fine (i've done this a few times as the seller, myself), but also seems like something that could get flagged as abuse pretty easily, even if everything are the seller's decisions.

I agree. In my case, I seriously did not want the items. I was fully prepared to send them back, but they told me not to.

So that's on Target.
