21 y/o Harnaaz Sandhu of India was just crowned the 70th Miss Universe winner topping the field of 80 contestants that was rocked by politics and the pandemic in Israel as the Top 10 contestants were women of colour!

A grassroots Palestinian-led boycott urged contestants to skip the event to protest Israel's treatment of Palestinians but in the end, only Malaysia, a predominantly Muslim country with close ties to the palestinians did not send a representative citing the COVID-19 situation....

Last month, last year's winner Andrea Meza of Mexico urged contestants to leave politics out of the pageant saying the gathering was meant to bring women from different backgrounds together...
