Zithers 12/14/21 1:55:08 AM #1:	Well, here's the topic. Only seen 26 movies from the 2020s but it is the best and probably will be until at least Killers of the Flower Moon comes out. Saw it on 70mm and it was gorgeous. Super funny. Good soundtrack with just one Jonny Greenwood composed piece. Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman would be movie stars in another timeline where anyone gave a shit about real movies. And with LA traffic it will be a nine hour all-day ordeal. Gonna catch C'mon C'mon on stream. Zithers 12/14/21 2:27:04 AM #8:	House of Gucci was pretty lame. I liked Driver and Gaga but it felt like the plot was leading the characters instead of the other way around. Jared Leto also made me believe it is actually 100% possible to be incredibly racist towards Italians. Also maybe it was just shitty AMC projection but the movie was so dark/drab looking. Speaking of shitty AMC projection my showing of West Side Story froze for like ten minutes in the middle. Pretty good way to spend $17. Oh yeah forgot about the boobs. They kiss at the very very end. Like literally five seconds before it ends. Also it should be noted that they are both terrible, opportunistic people. Like the ending is kinda nice since you've grown to enjoy spending time with them, it's a super fun movie, you wind up rooting for them, but they're definitely growing up to be Trump supporting boomers and probably gonna have an incredibly unhealthy relationship if it escapes the honeymoon phase. Don't really think this movie is at all an endorsement or celebration of their/her behavior in any way. Not sure if people are really able to understand depiction doesn't mean endorsement in movies anymore though. Something good to keep in mind when watching real movies instead of having Disney brain and needing everything spelled out for you.
