Served a customer who told me she is immune to covid because she is a mom and the pain of childbirth made her immune.

haven't really talked to anyone about it irl, so just the basic "it's no worse than a cold," " I have a strong immune system," "it only affects old, out of shape, and people with poor immune systems" etc. kinda stuff

Not directly about Covid, but a lady told our security at work that she didn't have to wear a mask because she was too pretty.

It's no different than the flu and everyone is making a big deal out of it like always and it will blow over soon.

I heard this shit every fucking day and it drove me utterly bonkers because every single fucking time I flat out quoted what these utter idiots were saying. There was a flood of right wing white knights defending them and calling me a liar.

The amount of sympathy I have for doctors and nurses during the pandemic is absolute and I will never ever forgive the Tories for the way they treated the NHS and Doctors/Nurses when they needed the support.

Fucking clapped a few times then stuck a spike up their ass and laughed while drinking wine. Sickening.

This one in particular ticks me off. It's very easy to debunk by showing death rates in a typical year compared to last year, and then compare it to covid numbers. It shows that we likely underestimated the number of covid deaths.

Not irl, but COVID denier at this point probably all need a kick in the teeth. Like the way they talk about it is the most frustrating thing, like some dumb shit about how not enough people are asking questions, when they're the ones not asking enough questions and going out to figuring out if it is real or not.

Honestly, if they don't think it's real, they should just keep going to big parties and never get vaccinated. We just don't hear about the ones that have died or got by with permanent lung damage.

And people who don't think COVID is lethal enough should just do the same. At that point it's just natural selection. The entire fiasco and people's absolute willful ignorance to it have all been incredibly frustrating to watch on the side. They want to deny it, but they're not brave enough to face the full risks. Very hypocritical

Had a cousin tell me that no one's died from COVID, that hospitals are lying about the deaths, and that the people who are "supposedly" dying from COVID are actually being killed by the vaccine.

Doesnt help that he and his wife got COVID and had a minor case.

Babies cant get sick from Covid. Which my aunt always says to me about my daughter whenever I mention any preventive measure to protect her from Covid. Shes not an anti-vaxxer and she wears her mask, she just genuinely believes Covid isnt dangerous to babies unless they have a precondition.
