Two 40+ yard TDs for my fantasy team stopped just short...and they couldn't even give me the Taylor or Murray TDs after those runs...

Arizona is playing kinda sloppy so far but they're hanging around

that was pass interference and those two plays in the Packers game weren't huh

Kingsbury wastes a challenge on an easy call (and he took a long time to challenge it, too), doesn't take the easy challenge win later because he doesn't want to be out of challenges in the first half, and Arizona gives up a FG before halftime, instead of forcing a punt with 2 minutes left.

Bad.

Arizona has looked as bad and uncoordinated as SF did. The coaching just made it worse.

The 49ers, Browns, and Cardinals all killed themselves with repeated mistakes. All 3 were the overall better team on the field, and all 3 found ways to give it away.

Titans can't clinch quite yet but I'll take the 3-0 start in Pickem at least

2-1 is just barely good enough to lose ground but still cling to the tie for 12th in the main league.

The Cardinals, a significant underdog in the main league, were... Significant favorites in the other league. 2-1 is bad in the main league, but it's great in the other league.

There's an almost identical number of people on the Titans and Cardinals in one league (~30% pickrate), and the other league has 1 person on the Titans ~5.3% pickrate), but 14 people (a ~73.6% pickrate) on the Cardinals.

That's a crazy disparity.

Also with the Titans and Colts winning, a Patriots win virtually eliminates Miami outright.

I kinda expect the Cardinals to go in and beat Dallas next week now that everyone's dumping on them. Not that I'd risk taking what would certainly be a huge upset on that!

Today's projections: I expected Ravens/Bengals to be one of the biggest games this week... I was wrong.

Games that currently matter:

Bills at Pats (Very slight favorite)
Broncos at Raiders (Virtually even)
Dolphins (Currently a pretty big favorite, but it's Monday) at Saints

Every other game matters so little that you probably have a good Sunday so long as you go 2-0 in those top 3 games and a good week so long as you go 3-0, barring a bunch of missed upsets or something.

I will be working through the 1pm games and will probably be home sometime during the third quarter of the 4pm games... Though I think the only actually competitive game I'd get to watch all day would be Jags/Jets at 1pm... Not a great day for televised football.

And sources say the Giants are bringing back both Jones and Judge. Nice Christmas "present" for the fanbase.

Well, I don't think they're the problem. Gettleman is the problem.

Sounds like Cam will start for the Panthers, but Darnold is expected to get a lot of playing time today and maybe start the final two games.

I feel really similarly to how I did when I took the Bills to beat the Chiefs.

A general sense of foreboding and "why am I picking them?" that ultimately results in sticking with my guns on no confidence.

...It worked out that game!

why are the Eagles so utterly useless against the Giants

Every time I think the Chargers can't possibly be as bad as they are, they go and show they're even worse.

Won't matter as long as Rhule is their head coach. Worst in Panthers history

I dunno, I think the personnel are more to blame than the head coach at this point. Darnold is a bust and newton is washed. He even fired the OC (rightfully imo) for not running enough, because they have the best RB in the game when healthy. I'm not sure enough has happened that you can definitely say the coach is the problem.

don't worry, the Panthers will be all in on Deshaun Watson in the offseason

I spent the entire time questioning my sanity and resisting an ever increasing urge to change.

I decided I'll just look at scores after work instead of letting them distract me during it.

Also it's a good way to avoid coming off work with 30 seconds left in a game and watching them blow it~

I said the same thing about him and about Garropolo on Thursday.

with all of today's results (plus a Chiefs win), the Dolphins would take over the 7th seed with a win over the Saints

if the Saints win, somehow Baltimore is still holding on to a playoff spot
