Yeah. And what's more is I was so on board with the company and Cyberpunk. Now I'm just bitter as fuck.

I can't fault people for enjoying their Cyberpunk experience even though what was delivered isn't close to what was promised.

Yeah Cyberpunk isnt bad. Just mediocre. A shame.

Honestly, after I found out Cyberpunk was entirely 1st person, I checked out of caring about the game.

I'm enjoying my time with Cyberpunk, but it's nowhere near the game they originally promised us it would be. That left me a bit salty too, but I still enjoy their games. I just won't kiss their asses as much as I probably used to and I will try to keep my hype for future games (from any company) that hype the shit out of their work to a minimum after that disaster launch.

I'm playing on a PS5 so cyberpunk isn't bad for me at all.

Thats good to hear you're enjoying it. Let no one take that away from you.

But what I'm referring to is all the broken promises, lies in the interview, controlled embargo with reviewers ect.

They intentionally, or at least their PR and higher ups, lied to everyone and sold a product that wasn't real.

Id still defend From Soft for a lil bit if they fuck up Elden Ring somehow. They gave me 6 bangers already. Even if I lost this $60, it was still worth it as a whole. But if they fucked up again after, my loyalty would evaporate lol

Did they do anything (or not do anything) recently? Or is this pertaining to the whole shitshow in general?

Theyve only made like two games one the goat and one pretty much the woat (at least on arrival).

The Witcher was big praised before 3. It just wasn't mainstream. I never owned an Xbox after the original and even I know that. That's like saying FF wasn't a series until 7. Not quite, but in a way of it blowing up in mainstream

pc gamers loved the witcher, the "witcher started at 3" people are mostly console plebs

I would actually really love a complete remake/overhaul of Witcher 1, perhaps on more platforms, so more people would get to experience it. It doesn't get enough love.

i love witcher 1 but it would be really cool to play it with good voice acting and character models that dont look like department store mannequins lol

I played on a PC so performance graphics it wasnt bad either.

but theres no content. You but the double jump/extended jump and you pretty much modded (or have access to) all the mods in the game. Guns are all copies of the ones you see in the first 5 hours too.

story was cool enough but not enough side content. it was fun though, I like it for what it is but its not even close to what was promised.

You are right. I only got W3 on PS4. I did go back and try and play 1 and 2 but compared to 3 they just felt really unpolished. I appreciate where the W3 came from but that doesnt mean the games hold up today. Any love for W1 and W2 is purely nostalgia talking. The same for people who like pre FF7 FF games.

What's weirder is the people who called them the greatest company of all time after playing one games and then immediately wanted blood after they fucked up once. Gamers are weird.

im sorry, thats all wrong. i played witcher 1 and 2 like 7 or 8 years after they were released and loved them free of nostalgia. but if you're having trouble getting into incredibly polished, streamlined-even-by-the-standards-of-today games like FF 4-6, i can understand why playing the old witcher games might be scary

Just their recent remarks of not having police chases in the game. The guy tried to say its not in Elden Ring either (Probably jokingly?). Except its not hard to input that kind of technology as you can literally have police chases in PS1 games.

Here are some comments I saw on this:

He completely dodged the question, there are NO car chases in CP beyond the main story missions, cops dont even drive their own cars. If you shoot a cop in the head and drive away cops with just spawn on foot you as you drive away, FFS GTA1 had car chases nailed down on the PS1, CP doesnt even have driver AI, which even the LEGO games have

The guy that provided the excuse was also the guy I remember speaking the highest amount of marketing bullshit prior to the game's release

Considering there's only one other game they made in that timeframe that's actually not that impressive, lol.

But shade aside, yeah Rockstar generally has a good track record. It's just now it feels they'd rather keep supporting GTAV Online instead of making a new game.

While in embargos, forcing the press and youtubers to play certain parts of the game while under their control so they couldn't see the actual problems.

Showing trailers right before release that had so much content, which in fact the actual game did NOT have a fraction of what they were promising.

Literally lying to the press that the PS4 and Xbox one versions were totally fine up until release, not letting people know what the situation actually was.

Lying that Keanu Reeves played the game and loved it. He said afterwards he didn't even touch the game.
