Genesis is pretty fucked. Like I hope I don't sound blasphemous saying this, but god and the supposedly holy men were kind of some dicks at times.

Like the flooding thing was not too cool, allowing his creations to be tempted and then McRib eats an apple and dooms humanity, then Noah gets drunk and runs around naked and his sons laughs at him and he curses all of his descendants for eternity (how is that even a thing he is allowed to do anyway, shouldn't that power be restricted to god?), the inconsistent magic system is dated compared to other more modern fantasy novels.

Yeah. I would always read Genesis for funsies. I like creation myths. Then it'd get bored around the Moses stuff and would skip to revelations. Basically I liked the wacky magic stuff and the in-between shit bored me.
