I did for a while when I was single but only for one night stand type situations. I even had a tinder profile that had me a few years younger.

If I was meeting people in more normal circumstances or if there was a chance I would see them more than once or had to respect them I wouldnt lie though.

Never had any reason to lie or be insecure about my age.

I don't really lie about my age. Last time it came up, a 21 year old was trying to hook up with me. I was 31, and there was like that pause where she processed it, and was like eh, that kinda works.

Also as I've gotten older I've had a lot more luck with women, even younger women, so I don't really see it as a detriment.

On some apps you have to pay to do that. I think you'd still have to provide an age because many users have an age range

I thank god that you don't set the rules for society. And am quite happy to ever date somebody who thinks like you.

That's not how it works, AT ALL.

Mainly because you can get a general idea of a person weight just by looking at them.

There very few physical traits that DISTINCTLY separate a 25 year old from a 35 year old.

I've known guys that went bald in their teens, I know 70 year olds with full heads of hair.

Also, there's only so long you can hold the lie of your age. Eventually it's going to come out. Whether is when its your birthday and she wonders why your family members are saying you're a different age than she thinks you should be, or if it gets REALLY serious and you're filling out forms or some shit.

Now, the question of SHOULD your age matter, as long as you're compatible, I personally feel that once you get past the age of 25 or so, age (or the gap between your ages) shouldn't matter.

Have any of you fuckers had any success? All I see is ghosting topics and broken hopes.

I met my current girlfriend on FB dating, and its gotten very serious. Our children are teens so they have met and hang out together.

Online dating is certainly a minefield, and nobody goes through it unscathed, but there are successes to be had.
