This one should be a doozy as there are hundreds of japanase games that never got localized for north american or european market for that matter and can only be bought and played in the land of the rising sun....but only one of these did not make it. can you guess which?

4 looks like some Idolmaster or dreamclub game. Im gonna guess that. Those arent very popular here

Thats Rhapsody for the DS. That one came out here for sure. I love that game.

I have been waiting for an official localization for one of those sega ages 2500 series PS2 phantasy star games just as long as the PS2 tales of games we never got, lol.

It looks like a 360 era one and none of them got localized, so this is my vote

I recognize pretty much all of these except 4 and 10. Of the two, 4 has my vote.

All of those screenshots have English text in them except for 9 so thats the one I chose

Most of those screenshots have their UI's entirely in English which kind of rules them out. Probably should have used screenshots of the Japanese version of each game. I mean I know Japanese versions can still have English text in places but not to the extent of #6, for example.

Although if I'm wrong and it is #6 then lmao I got got

People are getting tripped up since one of those screenshots is not an official localization/release, its a fan patch. That, and idolmaster got a few IOS only localizations that very few realized was a thing, kind of like that one tales of phantasia IOS port that was then taken down forever ago. (although I already spoiled it, lol)

A lot of japanese only games get fan patches to put everything in english though. So you cant rule anything out.

well it looks like i goofed and made 2 answers the correct one. 4 being idolmaster which i thought released in north america but didn't. but 10 was the one i tried to trick you with as phantasy star generation remake did not make it here. still, a lot of you got it wrong

Idolmaster did release get a official release in north america though...it got a IOS release in Shiny Festa. They might have taken it down now, but it did actually get some form of localization at some point. I was under the impression that the idolmaster 1 was a trick question since the vast majority of peeps wouldn't know that one actually was a thing.
