Over the year I've played the series all out of order: 4, then 1, 2, Shake it and now finally 3.
The exploration aspect of it is pretty interesting, but i'd say 4 is still my favorite.

I loved that game. For some reason the music from the volcano level pops into my head every so often.

I beat that a month ago. It was a fun experience. I like the goofy music that plays when wario get hurt by bird and become super clumsy.

Wario Land 3 is one of my favorite games. I should replay it sometime.

I love Wario Land, but I never did get into the sequels.

I remember having Wario Land on virtual console. Switch, plz.

What do you like so much about 4? I love 2 and 3. There's something about 4 that's off putting to me. Maybe some of those time limit situations where you need to rush to a door.

I've been playing through 3 super slowly, didn't get to play it when it first came out. I loved 1 and 2, but 3 just doesn't feel like it aged well for me. Haven't played 4 either, but I have it and will give it a shot once I finish 3.

Warioland 4 has the best music imo. I love the soundtrack that plays during the unicyle minigame. It changes beat and to try to mess up the player and it fits the soundtrack so well imom

I only beat it once as a kid. Tried to replay it recently but by then i was kinda burnt on warioland (played 3 and 2 consecutively). Gonna give it another shot in about a year. I really like that it is more challenging than its predecessors. I was playing it on hard but have seen the very hard runs. The timer seems to start very early on in the levels of that difficulty if not at the start.

I had to use a guide a number of times. Had so many instances where I spent hours wandering cause I had no clue where to go next.

In the Japanese version he throws beer at you, making you Drunk Wario

I really want to play those games again. And I want to play WL 1 since I actually never played the first entry, started with 3 (then 2 then 4 then 5)

Keep in mind, WL1's game play is very Super Mario Bros like. It's not like the rest of the series. Imagine if Mario smashed through each level with a fire flower or a tackle ability. That's WL1.
