me? She used to text me everyday and we would do things together like shop and shit. Slowly over time I started to get less and less, and with covid, I started to get nothing at all. I'm figuring it's just over, but shouldn't I be at least a little hurt by all this?

She's probably got other things on her mind. It's natural for old friends to kinda slide onto the back burner over time as life changes take over. Usually it's because of a boyfriend/girlfriend situation where the majority of their texting happens with their significant other. Single people have way more free time.

I mean like not all grass is green man but usually grass is green.

Friends don't generally text each other everyday without fail. If you're a kid you probably already see this friend everyday at school so there's not really a reason to text everyday and if you're an adult you have a job and other things that keep you too busy to text everyday.

It comes across as overbearing and clingy if you feel the need to message your friends everyday. Also deprivation increases desire, they'll be more excited you're messaging them if you don't do it all the freaking time.
