I crank both the top and lid back including scooping the lashes away, bring the contact forward on my fingertip and put it directly on my eye and it literally never sticks. Either it falls off my eye or it fold inside out against my finger. Doesn't matter how I try to do it. I've been trying for hours and I'm so pissed. I randomly broke my glasses the second time in a year and the school semester just started. I hate my life

The best piece of advice that I can give is to just step away for awhile
It's super frustrating the first time you try to put them in/take them out, and being frustrated just makes it 100 times harder.

Take a 20 minute break and try and calm down before giving it another shot

Instead of trying to line up and put the center of the contacts directly onto the center of the iris, go about a third down. Pulling on the upper eyelid doesn't make as much of a difference as pulling on the lower eyelid. Dry your hands as much as you can.

I haven't worn contacts in a decade but I used to struggle my first time until I figured out a way.

Make sure the contact is at the tip of your figure (not falling off, but sitting on as little of your finger as possible). Then do as you are (pulling down lower eye lid, and raising upper eye lid). Stare straight into mirror (if you use one, I would to make it easier) and as you move the contact close to your eye, make sure the bottom curve hits first. Also don't go straight at your eye with the lense, but at an angle. This will make the lense almost suck itself to your eye on its own once you get half way to making contact.

I always found getting them out to be more of a hassle. Lol

Hope this helps.

I got the left one in for the first time. My vision in it is like with glasses on except tears are streaming out of my eye and I'm terrified I'm going to blink it out or dislodge if if I wipe my eye.

You can rub your eye gently but if you do something like one would with an itchy eye...the contact might scratch your eye and damage it.

Maybe you have an eye lash in there also? That would happen to me way too often and it wasn't fun.

Perhaps take the contact out, then use some eye drops to wash out your eye and try again? Also, forgot to mention...make sure your hands are clean and lint free when putting in your contact. You'd be surprised how a very small piece of lint/fabric from a towel when drying your hands can irritate your eye.
