I didn't get the chance to play the demo, but it does look really good. I just hope it doesn't fall into the open world trap of being "empty". I do like that Fromsoft is at least trying something different and I most definitely will give this game a try.

I'm not hyped for it though. The last game I was hyped for was Pokemon SwSh just because I hadn't played a Pokemon game in almost a decade, and first console Pokemon game and we saw how that turned out. Elden Ring is probably gonna be fun because it's a fancier looking Dark Souls and I'm gonna play the crap out of it since it is Dark Souls, but it's just going to be more of the same for me. Game companies have pushed out too much literal garbage just to meet deadlines for me to feel any excitement for video games.

I didn't wanna spoil the beginning. But knowing people liked what they played is a good sign.

I wasn't even this hyped for Skyrim and I love me some Skyrim

Probably a challenge but nothing that cant be overcome.

As a huge Soulsborne fan Ill let you in on a little secrettheir infamous difficulty is a bit exaggerated.

They can pose a good challenge but the idea that these are games that will make you rip out your eyeballs out in frustration just isnt true lol

I bounced off the DS games for being too difficult, and I found the test of Elden Ring to be hard but manageable. Definitely more difficult than Skyrim or BOTW but a ... more fun kind of challenge than DS.

There's a mode where all the enemies are replaced with coins and it's just a collectable game. So you're good.

This. Certainly harder than the average modern game, but I rarely got stuck in any spot for too long.

I just hope it's not GoW 2018 type open world. Where you gotta go far out your way with a whole bunch of slow animations, just to find out you're under leveled for that area. Slow traversing in a (semi) open world is so fuckin dumb >_>. I liked it in RDR2 tho. That's one my favorite games. So, I dunno. I'll have to try ot regardless

I'm excited because I got into the souls games late so I was never there for peak pvp activity. I mean, getting invaded still makes me nervous as fuck but that's the souls experience lol
