Well yeah but if we are comparing success rates, even Marxists gotta admit that capitalism has seen more success. Are we still waiting on the "real try" for communism? Or de we need to go through a full cycle of socialism first?

Capitalism works, communism fails so if one has to go its communism as it does not work and has failed so many times where capitalism has improved the life of third world contries.

Forget what African country just adopted capitalism after being tired of communisms failure but they are thriving now.

that depends how you define success. certainly I don't consider "this country collapsed because the largest military power in history put a lot of resources into destabilizing it" to be a failure of the ideology or the economic system

We also don't count people dying of starvation or lack of medical care in first world nations as deaths under capitalism even though the cost was the entire reason they were dying. But the deaths under Communism count includes literal Nazi soldiers who were killed on the Russian front. :la

And this is part of the problem. Some communists say we haven't really tried it yet and other communists go "actually Cuba and ussr were very good."

Homelessness was eliminated because it was illegal to be homeless. Everyone had a job because everyone was forced to have a job. An improvement from the misery of living under the Tsar is an improvement, yes, but it's nothing compared to the quality of life in the west. Having a bunch of doctors is not a good thing by itself - India has a bunch of engineers, but US universities would rather take a fresh student than retrain one with poor habits already. 50% of urban dwellers in Europe could read by 1600. Good on them for going to school, grades are arbitrary. The wage gap is a myth in 2022, stop bringing it up.
