ChocoboMog123 01/20/22 5:38:44 PM #10:	Squirtle has higher base Attack than Onix, too. In Gen 1, Rock/Ground was actually pretty good. Rock was the only type, besides Ghost, that resisted Normal. Normal was probably the best type in the game between Body Slam and Hyper Beam. And Ground typing gave an important immunity to Electric attacks and Thunder Wave. Then Steel came along and Hyper Beam was nerfed. Even so, Golem and Rhydon are OU in Gen 2 partially because Snorlax is so busted.
