People complain about certain choices, how often he has his helmet off, how he talks too much, etc., but it has been a blast to watch so far. I've been a strong fan of Boba Fett for decades, ever since I had the Kenner toy from the mid-90s as a little kid, and this series has made me giddy on more than one occasion. Episode 4 has been the strongest one so far, and it looks to get even stronger going forward.

I just want to say, I love the way his character has been portrayed. Especially in episode 4. His motives for wanting to take a seat of power boil down to...He, and other Bounty Hunters/Mercenaries like him, have been sent off to die on some rich idiot's word for too long and too little. It's time one of those smart, capable, experience hunters became the boss for a change.

I also absolutely love Krrsantan. I knew nothing about him going into this series but he's quickly becoming one of my favorite Star Wars characters.

It's taken us three or four episodes just to get to the second act.
Telling two stories at once was a nice try, but it doesn't work out as well as it did in Favreau's head.

It worked exceptionally well for me.

Moves at a glacial pace and Bobas character is very different than in the OT and old expanded universe books, but its still pretty fun

Our expectations of Star Wars are so low after the sequel trilogy that decent seems amazing

Yeah, too many haters. I don't get the hate for fleshing out his time with the Tusken Raiders... the man survives a damn sarlacc pit -- and only because of his armor. Did everyone expect him to just come out fine from that and go off on his merry way? I guess they simply wanted a Boba Fett show of him mindlessly flying around in his jet pack going pew pew? *Roll eyes*

It's nice to see the Tusken Raiders be given some humanity and made me look at them as more than just generic scavengers. It's not a perfect show, but these series are far better than the theatrical releases we had. I've bought Episode VII... and well... that's where the plotline ends for me.

This is just demonstrably false. The OT explicitly fleshed out Boba Fett's pro-disintegration philosophy.

He also had a thing for the color purple and called everyone "friend"

I mean, he went from disentigrating people for fun to not wanting to kill people.

My only complaint is I don't like them letting Temura get his Kiwi on so much. Think it's kind of silly Boba Fett is going around calling people "mate."

As you can see though, that's such a minor nitpick. I'm really liking it overall.

Danny Trejo is in Star Wars now. That automatically makes BoBF pretty fucking awesome.

No it wasn't. And saying that proves you have no idea what "canon" even was pre-disney. Hint, it had levels, and a shitty cartoon was lowest of the low.

Even then, Filoni has said that neither he nor George ever considered anything but the movies + TCW canon pre-Disney

The flashbacks are the meat of the story so far, having most of the action and revelations contained in them. We learn all we want to know. How he escaped, what he's been doing, and why he wants to be a crime lord.

Meanwhile, the present day stuff has been setup while the flashbacks told their story. Now that the flashback time is over and he's fully healed, we ought to see the conflict heat up in a major way.
