Farm Pokemon out to Wayforward.

As much as I would like to join in on the hate from the same cherry picked screenshot that's been spammed by doom posters all day, reception of the game is currently well received by people who are playing the leaked copy. Despite the issues so far, a lot of people are saying the game is good/comfy/fun and so on. Some are saying this is the most fun they have had with a video game since Breath of the Wild. These aren't typical die hard fans, either. They are people who have issues with how the Pokemon games have been handled for years.

Guess we'll find out soon enough with the game coming out in a week.

It's real controls this time. The biggest issues I've seen is that the gameplay starts out as fun but becomes repetitive and the world explored by the player is empty.

So... Every pokemon since GBA or so.

There's only one town.

This is the laziest I've seen GF. Even with all the issues with Sw/Sh, it wasn't that bad. This is complete garbo.

Does anyone in this topic know of any fan made Pokemon games that **** on the official releases?

I like pokemon rejuvenation a lot, it does have the typical silly edgy story (at least at first, it gets better later) but the gameplay is just so good. playing on the hardest difficulty and have to straight up rethink my team for every major story fight. and they realize you'll need to do this so there are rematchable trainers that basically exist solely for you to grind on, and leveling new pokemon is extremely fast beccause of this

Well yeah, most fan games are shit lol. But surely at least a couple are decent.

Gaia felt a lot like a "real" Pokemon game to me, at least. And it's chock full of Pokemon around every corner, which lets you build really fun teams.

Par the course. Its almost like theyre known for having zero-effort presentation and anything remotely artistic would be the offensive surprise.

Those water effects were pretty decent for it's time but also shit compared to Super Mario Sunshine.

i'm glad they're enjoying their pirated copies that they can be completely unbiased toward having not dropped a dime on it

I am excited for this. I'm honestly excited by the whole varying sizes aspect.

The stealth and on the fly battling looks super fun too!

To other sites that exist outside of GameFAQs. Famitsu, 4Gamer, and Game Watch have all been mostly positive about the game. ResetERA is mostly looking forward to the game even more so after the leaks. /vp/, who is notoriously negative about Pokemon, are having fun with the game.

Before you post next time, try using your search bar. Maybe you'll discover other sites and communities outside of GameFAQs. I'm rooting for you.

I've also seen quite a few glowing reactions on Twitter from people who got it early. Definitely seems to just be a GameFAQs thing.
