Playing the 2021 remake I can't connect with this No, I need to like this. It wasn't boring at the time. You kinda had to be there (1997). Also it was really popular, so you could always find people to talk about the game in person. Try playing the original, to be honest just walking around kind of ruins it. Discovering a new path or hidden side trail was part of the fun. --- I missed the part where that's my problem. ... I remember getting Myst and Majesty at the same time as a kid. Myst was boring, Majesty was fun and had voice acting. Even when I was getting my shit pushed in I was having fun. I tried it again recently to see if it was just me as a kid not having the attention span for it. Nah, it's boring. Try Hypnospace Outlaw if you want a modern fun point and click adventure.
