If you don't have Kazuha, the answer is Kazuha. He's like Xiao and Sucrose had a baby.
Then C2 Raiden or C4 Klee (she's extremely good as a Sub DPS and her whole kit makes more sense in that context)
C1 Kokomi is pretty bad, because the scaling doesn't seem to work right. And that's true even with the clam set. They really need to redo her constellations. And I say this as someone who has used her in the abyss every single week since she came out, and I like her a lot. But she's got some s*** they need to fix.

It's an extra hydro application and normal hit, so it's pretty useful.

For what it's worth, it's really telling that the free four-star weapon for the new Ekonomiya is clearly the "Clam Set Catalyst" for Kokomi. And I have absolutely no doubt that it will be better than her five star weapon, which I unfortunately have.

Also Yae's weapon is almost literally Crit DMG Lost Prayer:

That's 48% ER at R5. Seems like a good way to keep up her ultimate for longer.

Speaking of which, after fully building Shenhe with 7/8/8 talents and using her in a Mono Cryo Abyss team... She's just not that great. She just isn't. If you told me she was a 4-star support that was turned into a five-star at the last minute, I'd believe it.

My initial impressions of C6 Ganyu -

On PC - She's OP as shit
On console - Pretty good upgrade for certain comps
On mobile - Complete waste

C6 Ganyu (in combination with C2 and C1) has really good synergy with Shimenawa's. You easily get all the energy back in seconds. And since the C6 incentivizes using your skill, you always have it up when you need it.

Yeah but at least with Tartaglia and Xingqiu taser comps, you're in melee range and Beidou trashes Fischl as well.
I'm sure she'll still be at least as good as Beidou, though.

Also thanks to C4 Jean I'm actually using Xiao seriously, and he's cracked as shit. Imagine if he actually had a set and good support options.

Eh, can't see it being better than PAmber, which gives you both healing and energy, as apposed to just the latter. Weird that it has ATK sub and not HP or ER.

At C0 she's the best battery support in the game by far.

Currently, it looks like Yae will just be a good-to-great electro main/sub dps, but not ice-queen-tier. Probably not a great choice unless you super like the character.

Raiden performs best if you can get at least C2, otherwise she's a good subdps, great burst buffer, best energy battery, okay burst damage with massive burst melee range. Very future-proof, because the higher the energy cost, the more she buffs your burst.

Kokomi is an easy to build powerful hybrid who heals, AoE-applies hydro, deals hydro damage and can be specced into either buffing the full team dps, or dealing good AoE physical damage around the player. Give her a team of electro sub-dps chars, put in a gravity puller and she will lead an almost invincible team that deals great damage.

If you don't have Mona, Koko is useful for opening up more team comps. Otherwise, Raiden. Yae is looking to be good but less versatile than the other two.

So I've been messing around with some weird s*** you can do with Tartaglia's C4 and the way it reapplies Hydro every few seconds. You can basically create Perma freeze teams where you don't even have to attack enemies.

thanks for the advice earlier regarding yae, raiden, or kokomi. thinking of either raiden or kokomi now. been looking forward to yae for a while, but her kit seems underwhelming. might wait for after she's been out for a bit and let other people experiment with her.

Honestly I think C0 Kokomi is more useful than C0 Raiden, but C2 Raiden is arguably the strongest character in the game, particularly given her compositions.

it's tempting, but it would definitely take me a re-run or two, and a few jeans, to get raiden up to c2

In the end it strongly depends on what he needs.

Kokomi may be completely useless to some people and god-tier to others.
For example if you already have a perfect Morgana set-up and have no plans to set up a taser team (which demands two of the following: Fischl C6, Beidou C2, Yae, Raiden ; AND one of the anemo gravity pullers), she is just a healer and replacable by 4*s.
On the other hand, if you don't have Mona but have Ganyu and/or Ayaka, you can immediately set up a very powerful freeze team. If you have the taser characters ready, Kokomi Taser is an easy mode powerful team that is almost invincible, easy to use, cheap to set up.

Raiden is great in teams where you need constant electro application or a lot of energy.

I am now a Xiao main. The day has come.

Did a lot of experimentation yesterday and came to the conclusion that Hu Tao + Xingqiu + Kazuha is the best combo against Mechanical Array, but Tartaglia + Xiangling is very close.

Problem is that Tartaglia is much better on the other side because he facewrecks the Pyro Lector.

I swear Tartaglia's on field DPS got better recently somehow.

So I was playing on floor 11 in the abyss and Ayaka died against that Thunder Oceanid boss. I thought I was not even gonna get one star but Kokomi alone took him down and brought me two stars. My other members were Shenhe and Sucrose and I didnt use the latter after Ayaka died.
