I played FF1 and FF4 on Wii VC but didn't beat either of them. Think I played 1 first

Played through FF1 on the PS1 Origins collection via Vita

FF6 on the SNES at a family friend's house

FF XIII was the game that convinced me to buy a PS3. Its one of the few games I regret buying

Mystic Quest.

I rented Mystic Quest on the SNES, never really got into it. As a young kid I hated the concept of turn-based combat, and in some ways I still do.

Shortly thereafter I played FF 6; after Link to the Past and Secret of Mana I was eager for the next big fantasy game, and I was more willing to get used to turn-based combat. The impact that game had on both my love of the video gaming medium and my own blossoming artistic creativity cannot be overstated.

5 on the PS1

FF1 on NES. My uncle owned it. I would just walk around fighting imps, since I was too young to understand the point of the game.

FF4 on SNES was my first real experience of playing the game as intended.

I played a bit of FF6, but didn't really like it.

Played FF7 because Remake was on PS+ and I'd heard it'd make more sense if you played the original first. Then I played Remake.

FFX on the PS2. On that same day in one sitting, I saw a sunset and sunrise.

the first one on gameboy, i think. though i don't really remember it at all. my first real memory is watching my cousin explore at the beginning of the World of Ruin.

FF1 on NES. It also got me a Nintendo Power subscription.

Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy mystic quest

My childhood best friend's dad won both games at a local fair, he had no reason to have them so he gave them to my friend. He had a Sega Genesis so he would bring them over to my place to play instead, great memories

FFVII on the PS1.

My older brother was playing it and I got to try it.

A friend of mine had FF2, I thought it looked dumb as shit until I actually played it and then I got hooked

FF1 on NES. I think my brother rented it once. I didn't get very far. Maybe to the pirate battle in the 2nd town

I kinda want to try to beat it someday. I completed Dawn of Souls version but that doesn't really count. One of these I'm gonna make an attempt

FF4 on SNES.

Watching my uncle play FF6 on the SNES when I was about 5 or 6 years old. He made level grinding and kurb-stomping everything look kool and that stayed with me for life. Main difference between us being I like to beef up everyone, but he insisted one getting 1 guy to 99 while everyone else stays dead and as low levelled as possible.

Never played a minute of any of them

Final Fantasy 4, back when it was named Final Fantasy 2.

Other: Crystal Chronicles on GameCube. Did not like.
Do not remember how I later got FFX only to love it.

Unfortunately did not have much skill and had to GameShark Yunalesca, and of course went overboard and cheapened the rest of the game.

VII on the PS1. I think it was in 2009.

VII as it was the first one to come out in Europe.

I played XV on Gamefly for 45 minutes

FF7 of course. Went back and played the SNES games though. Ive beaten 3-9 all OG versions.

FFX on PS2. Never finished it, though I got close. Still haven't finished any of the other few FF games I've played, either.

Yea, I always ran away from battles, and never understood why I couldn't beat Garland.

FFI on NES.
I was little and my cousin brought it over. He let me play it till you clear the castle at the start. He told me I had beaten the boss of the whole game so I was satisfied and let him play again. lol

FFX on the PS2

It was either FFIX, or FFTA.

FF4 on the GBA

rented 6j after mana, didn't like it. tried again after ct, liked it a lot

Reading a write up in Nintendo Power on FF2 (4) and thinking it looked like the coolest thing ever. Didnt actually get to play it until much later.

FF1 on the NES. I played a bit but wasn't enjoying it. The next one was FF4 and that one is my favorite in the franchise.

I watched my brother play a little of 8 before I got my first foray into the series. It was Crystal Chronicles, oddly enough. Of the main ones though, my first was X.
