What would you realistically do?

Where I live, it's technically a red state but a large part of my city is blue. And outside the city almost the entire state is rural. If the liberals managed to subdue the city Republicans, we could hold off as a blue stronghold inside Alaska

I dont see any red states down south in a position to rescue their comrades up here

I'd probably just sit tight and hope the right side wins. If things seem to be going bad down south, I'd flee to Canada and hope Trump doesn't spill over into their territory

Any potential civil war isn't going to break down geographically. It will either be sectarian violence against perceived leftists tacitly sanctioned by the a right wing government or it will look like Syria's current civil war.

I would do nothing as I don't live in the US, just follow the war on the news and social media. A post-American world order would be interesting to witness.

Because as much as we like to talk about red states and blue states the divide in the country isn't drawn at state lines. A third of Californians voted for Trump, and a third of Alabamians voted for Biden.

Yeah I think most of the people talking civil war don't seem to grasp that. On my local Facebook pages here someone posted about moving to OK from California and people were hostile about bringing Californian politics to Oklahoma (as if you could elect people worse than the dumbfucks Oklahoma votes for). Like, they really don't get that there are more Republicans in Cali than OK and if that person is moving to OK they're probably not very liberal

It'd be a clusterfuck. People take the red and blue labels on the map far to literal. In reality they all live in very close proximity to one another. Even intermingling at times.

Leave the country. The Bahamas, Philippines, or Taiwan sound good to weather out the war at a distance.

And then you have all the people who didn't vote who would also be caught up in the fighting.

Such an event would mean minorities and gay people would be targeted first. Anytime there's an issue in the country, conservatives have to mention Jewish people, BLM, millennials/genZ, immigrants and the Chinese. Even if the issue was a shortage on eggs that has nothing to do with any of those groups.

The 2nd amendment applies to all Americans.
