so i've done three nerdles now and got in the each time. in comparison, my average for wordle is like 4.2.

it seems to me that nerdle might be easier to solve faster, but a lot harder to actually think up the correct corresponding symbols for each guess

Dordle - Par (6 & 2) - Got the 2nd word so quickly but the 1st had me stumped for the longest time.

i'd been using the old site for the past few days even though people had been saying it had moved to NYT, but for today (240) it finally forced me over

5 tries, phew, was worried i might finally lose the 100% win streak, especially because my attention span is awful and makes me guess letters in places i already got them yellow.

Got the Wordle in 4:

By the 4th word, all I knew was there was a Y that was not last and an I that was not 2nd or 3rd. Took a lot of staring to even think of one word meeting that criteria that also didn't use the letters I'd guessed.

My brain was absolutely unable to think of any word that ended in IC with a N somewhere and VINIC was a result of me just typing in random combinations and hitting enter. And then it took even longer to figure out what other word ended in NIC, the whole time knowing I was probably gonna feel real dumb when it turned out to be something fairly obvious.

Pretty easy if you know your countries.

Took the full 6 attempts in Wordle though, really struggled on this one (I'm a day ahead of most of you).

does anybody have any hot dordle strats? I've been basically playing one side at a time.

I always start with:
PEACH
BLIND
FORTY
SWUNG

From there you have like a 90% chance of having all five letters for both words. In fact, you likely wont even need to do SWUNG.

For Dordle, I start with ADIEU then FROST. Usually that will give a few letters. I pick the one that's closest, and then do a guess for that one that fits the available letters. After the 2nd guess I really try to only guess words that could be valid for one of the sides.

If I get into a state where I know the positions of most letters but I'm missing one or two, and multiple words fit, then I'll move onto the other word, and hope that word's guess sheds some light.
