Lived in a few houses, never had more than a floor. None of the houses in my neighborhood have more than one. There's a few two floors around town, but I don't know their layout. My in-laws live in a small Iowa town and their house is like that. I've seen homes like that in Nebraska and Colorado too, so I don't think it's exclusive to any particular state. Also, lol at people not wanting stairs in the house like they're some Herculean obstacle. The husband and I moved into a multi-story home six months ago. You get used to them, they help you get a little more exercise, and...like...its 12-14 steps. Are you seriously bitching about a dozen steps up once in a while? ... Copied to Clipboard!
