The short story is that she leaves your party at a story moment.

As for me, at the end of the day, it's all stuff that can be replaced: Essences, Incense, Grimoires, Sutras.

It's a shame, because Light of Order is a nice skill.

I still have Idun because Bowl of Hyiegia into Golden Apple is such a strong way to swing a battle.

Yeah I've seen some videos where people get some lower levels going strong. With enough resources, anyone can be a beast really.

I had Idun for a long time but eventually she kept getting killed easily near the end of the game. Sraosha and Sandalphon are replacees.

Yep. I made that mistake during my first playthrough.

Second time, she was pretty much benched permanently.

Also, registering her in the Compendium is pointless, because it's not like you can ever summon her from it at any point in the game, even in NG+.
The game will let you use Nuwa and Abdiel, even when both are still on their separate sides, but not Tao.

You can fuse her again with better skills and grind her up. That's what most players do.

Yes.

She just sticks with you up until right before the final battle, which is where she leaves.
