I like to play Role Playing Games, but actually role play as the actual player I am playing to immerse myself into the game world. It is way more work to do it comprehensively, but it makes video games so much better. I can't even play video games anymore without a specific character in mind that I am in each game even outside of RPGs.

And before you are like 'you one of those weird dudes on rp servers?' Nah I only do this offline and generally keep to myself playing online. So I am one of those weird dudes who play on offline RP servers of my own creation I guess.

What exactly does this entail? When you play final fantasy, do put a lot of product in your hair , and walk around with a giant sword?

no i analyze or create the mentality for the character as they exist in that world. All the work is done in my mind.

I like to collect up all the robot-like enhancements in New Vegas and pretend they're actually biological mutations that give my character those abilities innately. Like Vault 22's apex predator or something. It's a shame when my character is made to talk and there's no option to stop speaking and just turn hostile. I feel like the most he should do vocally is rasp, hiss and gargle. A lot of the other repeat playthroughs kind of clump together like it's all one collective Groundhog Day scenario so sometimes I just try to lie about what's going on and make up crazy additional lore.

Your version sounds a little tougher though, I don't think I could portray a very convincing Shulk in Xenoblade, especially with how garbled things get near the end. I'd probably be better at emulating a really over the top character like Wesker or one of the TF2 classes though.

Nothing that weird. I play WoW sometimes and some phone games people would probably think are pretty weird.

I collect coins and antiquities too, which mostly seems like an old man hobby these days

Often when I play racing games, I like to find or create a playlist of music matching the year of the car.
