These professions, very much - change depending on the country they are conducted in.

I worked fast food a long time ago and I fucking hated it, but I would rather do that again than take care of old people. Ew

I have health issues that would prevent me from being a mover, but if I were healthy I'd probably choose that depending on the pay

I worked in the kitchen of a nursing home, so I had the worst of both worlds.

Is being a nurse really that bad? My elderly grandma is taken care of by stay at home nurses that come to her house, sleep over, work in shifts and the job is pretty chill. For every hour they spend cleaning her up and feeding her they spend like 5 hours sitting down, chilling, watching t.v and looking at their phones.

If not for the pandemic and my severe asthma I'd be working in a nursing home right now.

Fast Food. I am getting older and my back cannot take being a mover.
Mover: I would hate it for my back but I could do it .
Old people homes: I could not do it mentally.

really?

Yeah she has dementia and is basically a toddler and spends most of the day sleeping and can't really take care of herself. She basically gets 24/7 care in the comfort of her own home. Working with the same person consistently everyday seems pretty easy.

Fast food is first choice.

Mover is second. Don't really have the fitness for it, but I even more so do NOT have the patience to deal with goddamn boomers all day.

It's worse in a nursing home where there are a ton of old people needing that same type of care-- they're often understaffed too, so there's not all that down time.

Lol. So I've worked in a nursing home and done at home support like your grandma gets. In a nursing home you can have up to 7 residents equivalent to your grandma's state to look after per staff member per shift. And you'll often get one who has extra poor mobility or extra bad dementia that eats into the time you can spend with the others.

Community support work is 100x easier as you only have the one person to worry about at a time. Lots of down time yes especially if they're low maintenance

I am a mover and I would still pick it over the other two. Apart from the physical strain it's not bad for a shitty job. I don't get covered in bodily fluids and never have to see dead people. And if there's shitty customers I only have to deal with one or two a day instead of a string of assholes complaining about their burger not having enough ketchup on it.

Mover
I unloaded trucks for a living through college and for a bit afterwards. I kind of liked the workout. Heat was the only real issue. I'm much stronger now, so it'd probably be easier even though I'm older.

As terrible as it is to work in a nursing home you'll at least never be without a job to work and have the opportunity to pick your own schedule and choose your own pay (within a range). It's the hospitals where covid is the worst to work in. Nursing homes are pretty bad too mainly because of the intelligence of the people running them.
