For retail, it's because there are literally a thousand different things to see, find, do and collect, most of which can be accomplished on my own. There are other reasons, too, but that's the main one I think. For Classic (TBC), it's because I've met and built a solid rapport with a lot of really cool people that I enjoy playing with.
