And the older games will NEVER get rereleased due to the literal licensing nightmare it would be to sign off on real people's likeness, music, real brands, secret characters like Darth Maul, and Wolverine, skate videos, among other things. They would have to charge like $300 for a HD collection of all the PS2 games >_> They're basically just stuck on emulators forever. Getting a huge combo in THPS is awesome, but doing a relatively simple gap/line/combo right it feels so much sweeter when you do it right in Skate. Doing more insane stuff right and landing it in Skate feels like you made an awesome accomplishment.
