It was a tv movie that aired for Christmas sometime between 1987 to 1990

I have no idea what channel it was on or the name. Or who was in it. There was this evil corporate guy I think that was trying to steal from Santa the ability to fly. Santa used some substance that enabled his sled and reindeer to fly

I really only remember that concept and how the movie ended. I remember the bad guy starts floating up into the sky and can't control it. And he just goes away. As a kid I thought he went into space

I've never met anyone that knew about this movie. For whatever reason, I've always remembered it, but only those basic details

Oh yea. It wasn't animated. This was live action
