Fucking Xbox controllers suck! They break by just being used. And its not like Im gaming like some no-life dude either or rage slamming them.

Even the PowerA brand suck.

Please help.

My 360 controller is wearing out after like 12 years of quasi-regular use, but I'd call that reasonably durable. Even then, the issue is that the wire is partially broken, so it disconnects if I bend it at the wrong angle. I could probably splint it well enough to prevent that, but I should likely just buy a new one.

The bumper buttons are notoriously weak. The triggers, the right one in particular, breaks easily.

Maybe I should try and find a 360 controller.

I was so excited over the Elite 2 but it actually is worse than the elite 1.

My 360 controller just started wearing out, and I have had that thing for something like 10 years. The main problem with it is the x button (obviously the one used the most) is sticking. I could probably take it apart and fix it, but I just picked one of the new Xbox controllers instead. Much more comfortable than the 360 controller was. Only problem is my PC doesn't have bluetooth, and the controller adapter I got didn't work, so I can only use it wired. I'll probably get a bluetooth adapter, then I can use my Switch pro controller as a second controller if I want.

I also have a Logitech PS2/3/PC controller that I have used for 15+ years. I swear, that thing is neigh indestructible, only problem is it is corded so I only use it on my RetroPie.

The Xbox One controllers suck massive ass, In my first 2 years of having a One I had 3 break, meanwhile my 360 controller from the launch of Halo 3 lasted untill the tail end of the 360's lifecycle.

Find a 360 controller, they'll last you a long ass time, I've thrown them across rooms with the rage of an angry 12 y/o into tile floors when I was young, and they never broke.

Just don't use it for fighting games, it makes them painful to play.

My PS3 and 360 controllers are still usable and they're like 10 and 15 years old.

Dualsense has been solid so far, DS3s are plenty tanky too.

I am thinking of buying a new PC controller, but most likely get new headphones first. My current wireless ones are fine, but if I am charging them while using them they cut in and out. This only started happening when i changed cords from the manufacturer cord (which broke) to a 7ft one i had laying around.

with my one Xbox PC controller I have, this is my experience as well. the left bumper started having issues not long after I got it (clicking sounds at first), and just keeps getting worse (now it doesn't work properly and starts to affect gameplay).

I absolutely love my Dualsense.
