Current Events > For those who got their COVID booster, how was it?

Fully vaxxed last August(Pfizer) and originally thought it was a 6month wait but just saw it was 5months so I might schedule it for this Friday

Obviously everyone can have different reactions, just gauging what people here experienced

The first dose wasnt bad, just got tired but the 2nd put me down for almost 2days with tiredness, chills, soreness, etc. Got both doses on a Friday so I was good to go those following Mondays, not trying to use any PTO for the booster

the 2nd shot (Moderna) made me feel worse than the booster. i had barely any reaction at all to it.

Just a sore arm with Moderna.

No issues. Kind of tired, arm was much less sore than first and 2nd shot.

Two Moderna, and a phiser boost.

it was as bad as the second shot for me - that meant the next day was a wasted day of overwhelming fatigue and pain in the arm that was shot.

then the 2d day after, i was back to ok again

Booster was the worst for me. Other two shots, just a sore arm.

I got my booster in December and had no symptoms at all. But I also didn't have any symptoms from the first 2 doses. It was Pfizer all 3 times.

3 shots in total. 2nd was the WORSE for me... terrible reaction and of course it was on my bday... never doing that again. 3rd shot was just a sore arm thankfully.

Each shot was progressively better for me. Got sick after the first. Just a sore arm after the second. Basically no side effects with the booster.

The shot itself hurt like hell when they gave it to me compared to the previous two doses, and the same pharmacist gave me all 3 so I don't think it was her technique.

I had virtually no symptoms after though and didn't feel shitty like with the first two doses. Then I got Covid a few weeks later and it sucked but I honestly think I would've died without the vaccine.

Every single person I know that got the vaccines had a different reaction but the majority in my sphere has been mild to no side effects. My dad is the only person in my family to get the worst of it and that was sick for a day with the shivers.

Pretty much what happened to me like your Dad, family and friends had a sore arm or less, me I got the worst

In 5 months your booster will already be outdated lmfao.

Why put yourself through this? COVID is done with. Read the room.

I felt tired that day, but I was fine the next

Definitely on the downtrend, but work with a bunch of people who refuse to get it.need a full weekend anyway to be lazy and play games

Best to get it on a Friday imo. Maybe you have a bad weekend maybe not.

Thats the plan, I have Fri/Sat/Sun off with my job so its the best time to do it

Outside of my arm hurting I had no symptoms

I was a little fatigued but that's far better than getting a case of covid which would possibly result in missing a couple days of work

2nd shot of Pfizer gave me a fever for 1 day the next day. Booster was exactly the same.

Sore arm. Very minor fatigue. I pretty much just needed a quick nap after work and I was fine.

I got double moderna with a moderna boost. I was more or less fine. A tiny 99 fever for like 3 hours and a sore arm for a day or two not unlike a flu shot.

2nd moderna shot was rough though. Fatigue, fever, and general queasiness for about 8 hours the following day.
