Me personally, no. Maybe back in my teenage years when I was working part time at an amusement park. But that's only because I had a friend that worked as a pizza delivery guy and he was making more money than I was because of his cash tips.

But some people are perfectly OK with their job being just a job, and not a "career". Some people do not need a good job to consider themselves a success.

That's a matter of opinion though, and varies on a case by case basis.

Someone working at an Amazon Warehouse can be thinking, "OK. I clear about $25,000 a year. At least I know that bills x, y, z, 1, 2, and 3 will be covered no matter what."

Some can have the job as a supplement to a spouse's income, and would have no reason to break their back trying for another industrial job, when their job of taping Amazon boxes closed is all the effort they want in a job.

There's literally dozens of different reasons why someone has no issues with their current station in life.
