https://www.thescore.com/wnba/news/2307647 Instead they fined the New York Liberty $500k because charted travel is against the rules of their CBA. Apparently it was considered a competitive advantage that the other teams were not able to have access to. What makes this even funnier is the Liberty lost every game that revolved around the usage of the charter planes. I read another article on this and it said the owner of the Liberty was down to pay for every team in the league to have a chartered plane for the next couple years. It's insane how people watch it when the quality of its football is so bad compared to the EPL.
