The main problem I have watching most of them is the fact they all have 2 or 3 characters related to the case so it doesn't really make it interesting on who did it. The Killing is a great one, very dark and moody theres also a bunch of great HBO mini series that are 8-10 eps each, all surrounding a single crime.
