That...was not what I expected Buu to look like or be like. I imagine this will be a multi-phase boss like Frieza or Cell because that can't be his final form.

I loved the old Ninja Turtles games (aside from the original one, which sucked) so I'll definitely get this

The first one is the one I'm nostalgic for. It did suck, but I was always disappointed the "sequels" were just beat em ups.

Made it all the way to the end of the desert area in Ori 2, only to learn that I have to find all of the Wisps first before I can enter the dungeon, whoops! Oh well, at least I got the Burrow ability out of it. Now I'm in Baur's Reach.

Attack on Titan season 3 (finally) beated.

This was definitely an improvement on season 2 and was reasonably solid overall. The last 10 or so episodes in particular were good and quite possibly the best in the series so far. I'm also pretty optimistic about the future direction of the plot (which...unfortunately has not always been the case), mainly because they seem to finally be taking Eren's character in an interesting direction.

For a few reasons, I think it's pretty safe to say I'm not as big on this series as the rest of this topic and the anime community in general, but it's really not worth dwelling on the negatives when the show is still good enough. Also Season 4 definitely has the potential to be quite good and raise my overall opinion considerably.

Best characters are Historia and Erwin, with Armin and Ymir not far behind them but well ahead of the rest of the pack. Eren could easily be added to the list by the end if the last couple episodes have been any indication, but he hasn't earned it yet and could still flop.

Historia is great.

oh boy

anyway while i have hilariously big issues with the execution of so many different things in AOT, i mostly love the world and the overall myth arc (the one that wrapped in S3) and stakes they created. that alone has it as one of the most interesting shows i've watched in recent years.

Historia and Erwin are great. Didn't really like Ymir, which probably impacts my feelings about Season 2 since she's such a big part of it. Levi is where it's at for me.

Eren's character arc is such a rollercoaster ride and I'm not sure if that's a net positive or negative for the series...!

Yeah my main issue with season 2 was Reiner and Bertolt, but I loved Historia and Ymir. In retrospect I'm not sure if my negative feelings about Reiner/Bertolt's character arcs would be properly directed at the characters themselves or at the setting/world in general, but regardless.

Ymir and Historia's treatment by the series sucks. I liked them a lot at first, but Ymir's decision at the end of S2 is absurd, and Historia basically just gets written out...

Speaking of said series, continuing on in S;G LBP and this is really good, definitely worth the price of admission (though making it only available as a bundle with S;G Elite was lame.) 5 of the stories fully read so far and the fact that each takes the PoV of a different character is really cool since you get to read their inner thoughts and even little things like how they name the others in their phone contacts.

On Faris's story right now and it's particularly cool here since you very rarely got the chance to see Faris acting seriously in the game since it was from Okabe's perspective, whereas from Faris's PoV you're behind the mask so to speak so you're getting her real thoughts the whole time.

Whew, haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to this the last couple weeks. Life has been busy, but finally made some progress! Kanon has proposed an alliance to take down the Ruinbringers, but now we've got to decide if we trust her or not. Regardless, she's right that the Game is rigged to repeat endlessly, so it's not like we've got a better option.

So Buu can not only copy people's abilities, he can also...turn people into snacks and eat them? So he's basically the demented Kirby from There Will Be Brawl.

Also Vegeta blowing up Babidi's spaceship is a classic troll move. Now I'm kinda hoping he actually wins the fight against Buu because he deserves a moment of glory. That seems to be what they're building up to here, but they can always pull the rug out from under me here.
