So what? The first was on the flimsiest thing they could impeach him for, and not a much better reason like vetoing a bill to end our support of Saudi Arabia's genocide in Yemen, and the second was at the ass end of his presidency when it didn't even matter anymore.

b) You seem to be under the misapprehension that getting impeached actually means something. Every single time it's occurred in US history it's been more about political oneupsmanship than actual wrongdoing.

The children of today need to grow up and develop a fucking sense of perspective. Yes yes, I know, all your friends on Twitter spent four years constantly telling you that orange man bad, but 15 minutes with an actual history book might reveal the shocking revelation that the US has had a lot of shitty Presidents, a lot of whom committed a number of crimes, or whose policy decisions did significant damage to the nation long after they were dead and gone. Trump's pretty much an amateur in comparison to some of our past officeholders.

We're talking about a litany of leaders that include people like Nixon, Ol' Teapot Dome, and the walking sack of human excrement that was Andrew "Fuck Those Injuns" Jackson. If anything, Trump fits right in. Just because you can't remember anything before the 1990s doesn't really make him the wurst prezident evaarrr.

Trump was objectively awful, but Reagan has had enough time for us to feel the impact of his terrible terrible policies.

Well, Woodrow Wilson bungled things in WWI -- costing countless American lives -- and helped to set the stage for WWII. So it's between that and a guy who sent some mean tweets >_>

Considering elected democrats were calling for his impeachment before he took office, your defense rings laughably hollow.

Im surprised Buchanan doesnt have more votes, hes at the top of every worst presidents list for being an incompetent ass. He stood by and did nothing as our country became more and more divided, southern states succeeded and a civil war was threatened by the end of his term.

Oh and he fully supported the Dredd Scott case, hoping he wouldnt have to tackle the slavery issue, but his stance on it only made things worse.

Trump and Reagon might be worse in some spots as they are terrible influences on todays politics, though (and the former did try to overthrow the government). But Buchanan should get a mention for being so terrible, he literally tore the country apart.

Andrew Johnson and Ulysses S. Grant should be included in the choices. They may not be the worst to some people, but they were notoriously known as bad presidents in history, worse than most of the ones in the poll.

One caused a civil war
One created the IRS
One introduced crack to inner cities targeting minorities
One was an embarrassment on the world stage

And that's just naming one of their multiple crimes. Let's face it we get the short end of the stick every time with all these leaders because they're all sociopaths and narcissists. That includes the current administration, Bush, Obama, etc.

Younger people don't know this but Reagan basically put an all out assault on working-class people by spearheading union busting when he refused to negotiate with the air traffic controllers union in the early 1980s so he basically busted their union and replaced the striking controllers and then every employer in America that was dealing with unions followed suit.

Now they get around unions by bringing in immigrants on work visas to negate union membership because those people simply will not join unions and the few Americans who are in union especially in right to work states have their hands tied.

It's Buchanan and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot/not versed in history. It's basically thanks to him that the entire civil war happened and his general inactions and failures caused any chance of an early resolution to be dissolved. I don't think you can get much worse than 'caused an entire civil war through your own incompetence'

It's because a lot of people don't even know who he is. Yet they know who Reagan and Trump are and, basically, if you are on the left, you will almost certainly think one of these two is the worst regardless of any actual quality.
