the scream 1 murderers are pretty notorious and obviously the media or internet would have pics of them.

Seeing The Boys was crazy, I kept trying to place him until it came to me.

Probably the most obvious killers since the first one, probably deliberate. I mean, when she said she only knew him 6 months and he made a big show about having "never seen those movies before" that made me go lol wut

Ya I thought 4 was better tbh. Some good parts but mostly meh.

1>2=4>5>3 imo.

I loved it. You can make a case for the killers being easy to figure out, sure, but the movie is a lot of fun regardless.

I mean, besides being directed by Wes Craven himself, 4 already did both the "reboot for a new generation" and the "social media/internet age/everyone wants to be famous" commentary things so 5 really doesn't add anything. I did like some of the performances/actors

If anything it feels more like Scream 3. Didn't 3 already have a long lost relative or sibling or whatever that was never ever mentioned before and pulled out of thin air? I mean who was even the mother of the 2 new girls whose dad is billy loomis? Were they ever mentioned? Or just some random high schooler who got pregnant by billy before he died with shaggy in the first movie?

The sultry goth girl was suspect as well. They seriously expect us to believe a spindly little teen girl like that has anything even resembling the muscle strength to take on a grown ass man? Couldn't help laughing during some of those scenes, do they have any idea how fragile teen girls are? They'd shatter like glass.

The fact that they mention something like reddit or 4chan by name instead of just saying "online communities" though...is reddit really so popular

Its got like 50 million users in the US alone so imma say yes.

Yeah that's where it lost me when they finally did the big reveal. You expect me to believe that 5'4" 120lb girl had that kind of grown man strength?

Then again Dewey was stabbed 9 times and has permanent nerve damage so they probably thought that would fly.

But you know what really annoyed me? Apparently that woman cop who inexplicably survived in the 4th movie became sheriff in this one (even more absurd an outcome) and she actually runs into the house without her gun, without any weapon wtf. Training didn't kick in, no instincts whatsoever?

I kinda agree with this. I think Scream 4 was better executed and kinda did the same thing only better. Plus, for some reason I just found Scream 4 to be hilarious. It was so over the top at points I was literally laughing out loud. I rewatched it last night after having just seen Scream 5 the night before. I saw at the end it was directed by Wes Craven himself so no wonder it was so good.

Scream 5 was solid. It was a good movie but again nothing new and i think everything had already been done before with Scream 4.

Id say all the movies were good except for Scream 3, that one just sucked and you can tell they ran outta gas with that one. Otherwise Id say all good movies in their own right.
