This is a disingenuous question. You're trying to fish for a reason that you can dismiss as unimportant. Whether you think it's important doesn't matter, because we're discussing my body. In other words, bodily autonomy itself is the biggest reason. Some people do have a hard time understanding why bodily autonomy matters, especially in America.

Somewhat, but I did actually want to know. Was it for medical reasons? Or did you just want your dick to look nice?

Anyways wether the parents or child chooses it, I dont care. I dont think its barbaric in any way, maybe sometimes not needed, but not barbaric. No way. My point was that uncircumcised guys or others are way too angry at the circumcised for some reason, when in reality nobody should care if one persons circumcised or not or proving ones better than the other.

And with post 94, Im sure you know this by now, but I assumed you were uncircumcised.

I will say this as someone who is circumcised, there is a lot of shaming done against people who are circumcised where the only thing we can answer, "ok" because it's not like we can grow it out.

With that said, I do share their opinion about the practice of baby circumcision being way too normalized and prevalent without any good reason other than "tradition". If you live in America with access to water or personal hygiene, there's no medical reason to get a circumcision. I was circumcised because my mom and dad were pressured by the doctor and nurses to get one. All I know is that something un-reversible like this should be a choice by the actual person, hence bodily autonomy.

Yeah, that's the issue. You should care. By saying you don't care, that means you don't care about bodily autonomy.

To repeat what I've already said, infant circumcision is the problem. If an adult chooses to be circumcised or uncircumcised, that shouldn't matter. And circumcised people definitely shouldn't be shamed. Especially if they were circumcised against their will.

Parents who circumcise their children, however, should indeed be called out. If they aren't, then nothing will change.

I feel sad it happened to me but what can i do about it? It still feels good when its touched so oh well.

Nah, it's usually the other way around when this topic is brought up. Circumcised guys often don't really care, I know I don't.

I do think parents shouldn't force it on kids but I don't think there's anything wrong with getting it done.
