Around 10 years sgo i think on NBC, there was a show called Kings. It was reimagining of the story of King David's life from the bible. But set in a modern day fictional version of Israel. Unfortunately, most people ignored it, and the show was canceled after 1 season. It only covered from the fight with Goliath (in this case it was a tank he destroyed) to him about to become king I think. I would have been interested to see what later seasons were like but we never got the chance ... Copied to Clipboard!
