I played Psychological for that reason.

The way that in the end the whole completion of the mystery is overshadowed by meeting the cryptid is one of the best endings to a videogame of all time.

I know nothing about this game other than theres a lot of different skills that can affect dialogue and such. Whats the game actually about?

Except for that one part if you don't have the right skill it's almost impossible to continue. 8/10

It takes place during a murder investigation, but it's about the detective learning to live with himself. It is simultaneously a hilarious, grim, and intense experience.

Toward the end of the game. If you don't have shiver you can't see something.

I'm guessing the Shivers check to enter the mural hideout.

It's something you should invest in no matter your build because Shivers is kinda ridiculous in scope and what it can tell you.

are you talking about the cryptid?

if so, don't you still get an ending, just not that part?

Yea well I didn't so it fucked up my game and forced me to level it up a bunch just to get past it.

That's a shame, there is also a thought cabinet that gives +3 Shivers

I went with an intelligence build so I didn't have any.

tbh, I haven't played the game for about a year (when it came out on the PS4), so I couldn't remember.

iirc, I leveled shivers up a bunch, so I don't think I was locked out of anything related to it.

I also played a intellectual build and didn't have the problem, but I see how it can inevitably happen to some people if they're committed to never reloading or what have you, since everything is dice
