Thought about this earlier but only just got around to posting it. Not sure how many of you watch game shows, but... For me, they're both on NBC. Forgot to say that Wheel is at 6:30 Central for me. Right before the 7 pm prime time slot. We have a lot of local news shows here. Like NBC has them at 4, 5, and 6 for a half hour apiece and then again at 10 pm. I have no idea why they feel all of that is necessary. --- BlueCrystalTear | You're living your own life. Both on CBS affiliate here, but Jeopardy isn't shown on the main one, but rather another associated channel instead. BlueCrystalTear posted... Forgot to say that Wheel is at 6:30 Central for me. Right before the 7 pm prime time slot.And this is exactly why. 6pm local news into 6:30 Wheel on the main station, 6pm Jeopardy into 6:30 rebroadcast of the 6pm local news on the alt station Similarly, all three of the local NBC/ABC/CBS is news broadcasts literally from 4pm to 6:30, mostly local but with the network's national broadcast at 5:30 breaking it up, then celebrity news show (or Wheel of Fortune) at 6:30 The local Fox is local news from 5 to 6:30, with literally Judge Judy in the 4pm hour, and celebrity news at 6:30. No national news broadcast. I've always assumed this was because of awkwardness around Central time getting broadcasts simulatenously with Eastern, which this topic seems to back up.
