Most of my enjoyment depends on what I am doing with friends and family that year. Chronological order:

Valentine's Day - usually do something with whomever I am with. Kinda fun but also cheesy and needlessly expensive

St Patricks Day - pub crawls, Irish music, beer. Usually a fun night

Easter - ugh. If I have my kids, I do all the Easter Bunny stuff, as they love it. But I am not religious

Memorial Day - usually just a friend BBQ. Maybe a camping or cabin trip

4th of July - usually go watch or set off fireworks. Depends if I have my kids or not

Labor Day - same as Memorial Day

Halloween - one of only 2 holidays I actually care about. Trick or treating if I have my kids. Usually go to at least one Halloween party. Love the decorations and watching scary movies. Also, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a masterpiece

Thanksgiving - usually a lot of work for just a meal. Can be stressful. But usually do a Friendsgiving earlier in the month and that is more fun

Christmas - my favorite by far even if I am not religious. The festivity, the lights, the music, the movies, the gifts, the specialty beers. Everything. I basically enjoy it all December

New Years Eve - usually have a party with friends

Valentine's Day - I have fun blasting Love Stinks all day.

St Patrick's Day - Excellent. Love corned beef, this is the easiest time of the year to find it.

Easter - Not bad, good food.

Memorial Day - Fine

4th of July - Always fun watching the fireworks.

Labor Day - Fine

Halloween - Fine when I was young, but now I can't stand it.

Thanksgiving - Fine when I was young, but now I can't stand it.

Christmas - Fine when I was young, but now I can't stand it.

New Years Eve - Just another day.

For the longest time I never cared for any of the major holidays. Growing up, those were when wed suffer the most abuse. There was always a blow up fight and the day was ruined. Especially christmas, thanksgiving, Easter, and birthdays. Now that I have my own little family Im finding myself liking them again.

As for the non religious ones, we dont really go out. Too many crazy drunks out there. My first Fourth of July here in the states, my husband was jumped by drunk racist skinheads in Huntington Beach and we spent the evening in urgent care.

Valentine's Day - Eat something shitty go to bed early. Just because of the way the beginnings/ends of my relationships have worked out I've been single for nearly every valentine's day lol

St Patricks Day - Never been something I've celebrated nah

Easter - Usually a nice dinner with family.

Memorial Day - Not celebrated in Canada. We have Victoria Day, which is usually the week before. I typically try to do something outdoorsy with family and friends. In terms of celebrating/remembering the troops we got Remembrance Day in November for that.

4th of July - Not July 4th, but July 1st to celebrate Canada's independence. Usually a big festive party with friends.

Labor Day - Nothing in particular. Maybe go out to camp to get one last summery fun thing in before stuff starts freezing again.

Halloween - I always kinda hated Halloween lol. I'll usually do a party with friends or go to some big event though.

Thanksgiving - Always a very cozy holiday. Good food, family, and that lovely crisp fall weather

Christmas - Love it. Basically for all the same reasons TC mentioned.

New Years Eve - Big party with friends.

I feel so sorry that someone who is such a good person had such a shitty childhood. And skinheads? Ugh.

And @Doom_Art , no Canadian holidays allowed! :) But seriously, other than Halloween, we seem to have somewhat similar thoughts.

Hate all of them besides Halloween, which ironically, is the only one I have to work on (high school teacher).

Christmas would be alright if 90% of my family wasn't dying from terminal cancer right now.

I don't celebrate anything anymore, so I just enjoy whatever days I have off from work.

Valentine's Day - Usually a dinner/smallish present, nothing extravagant
St Patrick's Day - I used to get a Guinness and corned beef every year but that stopped last year
Easter - Haven't celebrated since I was a kid. We still have family dinners though.
Memorial Day - Don't care outside of the day off work.
4th of July - We go to fireworks but I like the general summery vibe more.
Labor Day - Don't care outside of the day off work.
Halloween - Don't like it anymore, too much effort and $ then you have this costume that sits in your closet forever, just seems wasteful.
Thanksgiving - My favorite holiday.
Christmas - Like it but it's starting to become more stressful each year as more and more people are added to my gift list.
New Years Eve - Used to care a lot more about it. I'm in bed by 12:15 these days.

Sounds like you need to get out more! Many of the holidays are just excuses to have parties
