Day... 8

Yesterdays drive home wasn't really safe. Felt like I was driving without my glasses when I use to wear glasses. But I made it back home, phew.

Today my vision is still blurry but I can actually read texts without staring at a word to see if that's an "i" or "l". I was thinking about taking next week off from work if that was the case since most of my job is at a desk, I'd be useless.

Day 9.

Today was a pretty good day vision-wise, but my vision got blurry an hour ago, and now I have my first PRk headache.

My 2-week mark was yesterday, and I think my eyes are back to normal. At least as I'm typing this. No double vision or blurriness when looking at my monitor, hurray!

Back to normal as in pre-surgery vision? Or back to normal as in good to go? Either way is awesome!

Early thoughts now that youre through the worst of it?

The worst was the first three days after surgery when I couldn't look at a TV or my phone. I had no one around to talk to, which made it worse; I was bored out of my mind. I can only listen to so many podcasts/audiobooks before getting stir crazy, so I took Percocet to go to sleep.

Setting up timers to get my eye drops in is pretty straightforward and nonintrusive to my everyday life. So everything else has been a cakewalk. I think it's worth it to do PRK.
