Just accept it's a numbers game and don't take anything personally until you've met someone. Then you're allowed to be upset by rejection lol.

Accept you'll only match with 5% of people you swipe on then accept you'll actually go on a date with 5% of that number.

Then half those dates probably won't lead to second dates.

Well, and to keep spreading stories like in the OP. Until people actively choose to recognize how much damage it actually does, it won't work.

Then again, getting people to acknowledge there's a problem unfortunately as the OP reveals, is a pain in the ass. The woman in the article had to be hit over the head with reality before she stopped assuming he was the problem.

You go way out of your way to make it seem like the assumptions of women and their logic aren't wrong.

Men regularly acknowledge that their perception and use of the apps is incorrect or they need to figure out a new approach or improve their thinking and themselves.

Yet, anytime it is suggested that women have also incorrect thinking (and the OP is proof), it's never their fault. lmfao Keep on dodging, Gladius. Keep on dodging. Women have a lot of work to do as well when it comes to the societal approach and their perceptions on how it's supposed to work. And there's nothing even remotely wrong with suggesting that.

Only read the first post. Thats exactly how it was for me before I met my wife. Women didnt want to have a conversation and the ones that did respond didnt give any indication they wanted to talk. Took me a year of using all the apps including tinder pretty much daily before it was just the right timing for me and I met my current wife.

on Tinder I would even swipe left on every girl that came up just to see what my options were and the experience was the same. Online dating is pretty lonely for some men. I had a date every couple months when I tried in person.

I thought it was common knowledge that women have the advantage in the dating and relationship world. Are there people who think otherwise?

I found my current girlfriend on FB dating which is free. I find that It has the more real people tbh.

Which leads to the question. Can you actually find decent/good women on dating apps? If they are so spoilt for choice, wouldnt anyone you match will expect a lot from you. And when you don't meet their high expectations, they quickly turn to the sea of other men they matched with?

tbh in my years using online dating I found it was generally a skill you needed to learn, and something you had to put effort into

when I was actively trying on those sites I could get multiple dates per week; problem usually ended up being either wanting or getting a second date

its all about reading the profiles, finding the right angle to message, figuring out who would respond better to a short quip vs a longer genuine message, who was probably just on there for attention and wouldnt respond, who was a catfish

making sure your profile is good was obviously a huge part of it too

Tl;dr you cant just start a new thing and expect to be good at it right away
