My ex wife was in my apartment the other day and she reached for the book Im reading and says, whats this?

I tell her, a book, dummy and she opens it up, I think she expected it to be hollowed out because she always accuses me of being on drugs.

She then gets irrationally mad (a typical reaction when we interact) and goes you think youre SO smart! all nasty like.

After she left our daughter made fun of her and said something like, mommy should probably read a book too

I hope you enjoyed this look into my life, Im really only posting now to save this topic from the purge. Im past the halfway point in Moby Dick now, taking some time off work (like 6 weeks) to help my son get confident in reading and enjoy some summer fun
