Today, I wrote my first Ansible playbook to automate a change I have to do next week. This is pretty awesome.

Hopefully I can get really good at this. It's definitely a change in how I have to think about things. Instead of logging into multiple devices manually and doing the change on each device, I can just write out an Ansible playbook and then have Ansible make the changes I need on as many devices as I want within a few seconds.

Right now I'm spending more time up front trying to figure out the correct formatting, but I think after I get used to it, I'll be able to write playbooks pretty quickly.
