Ooh, can't say I agree with that one. Also, that wasn't a totally Sam Raimi movie. It was more a Sony movie than Sam Raimi. Sony forced a lot of crap into that one. Granted both are Sony movies, but Spider-Man 3 is still really, really bad.

I haven't seen it personally, but the reviews I've heard about it basically boil down to this:

"The cinematography is really good, and you can see a lot of Raimi touches in its style. The main actors are really good at playing their roles and evoking something from their characters. But the script is horrifically shit and utterly stupid, and in some ways comes across like a bad advertisement for the Disney+ shows more than an actual worthwhile sequel to the original movie. And it's more proof that the MCU.probably should have stopped after Endgame."

Definitely wrong

There were definitely some holes plotwise, but thats not why I see Marvel movies.

I really enjoyed what Raimi did here, the movie was a visual delight
